Postural habits

It is very easy to develop postural habits when working or playing sport, which may not always be useful. Instinctively we are often aware that  these postures make us unbalanced and cause discomfort but knowing how to change them is difficult.

This is where the Alexander Technique (A.T.) can help. A.T. specialises in movement, making you more aware of your body and how much muscular tension you are holding. By improving balance and co-ordination, tension is reduced and those recurrent injuries, aches and pains also diminish too.
