Put a Spring in your Step this Easter!

Spring does at last seem to be on it’s way and the evening’s are getting lighter, the kick start we need to increase our activity – More walking, more gardening, more action in our lives. Along with this increased activity comes those twinges and unfamiliar aches caused by different exertion. The Alexander Technique helps you to become more aware of your body in activity – To use your body with less strain and tension and with more balance and co-ordination. So rather than using our bodies as if we are ‘driving with the handbrake on’ you can experience more freedom of movement, lightness and indeed put a spring in your step!

New year, New start…

Hi,

The winter weather continues on – Consequently we are all still hunched, tense and pulled down, our posture suffers and those aches and pains seem worse. These stances can become habitual and affect our balance and co-ordination, our natural poise. The Alexander Technique has useful tools that can help us shed those bad postural habits that are exacerbated by Winter – So we regain that spring in our step, that lightness that occurs when our bodies function in a more balanced way and with less tension. We feel better and look better – Ready for Spring when it eventually does arrive!
